The Swartland

Located north of Cape Town, the Swartland - or "Black Land" - is a landscape of resilience. It is defined by its ancient Malmesbury shale and decomposed granite soils, where unirrigated old bush vines must dig deep to survive. This struggle produces small, concentrated berries that carry the raw elegance and minerality of the earth itself.

As we have grown to know these microclimates intimately, we have intensified our focus, refining our efforts to better express the honest, unforced character of this remarkable terroir.
